2022 is coming to an end so this week I have shared with you all how i write my letter to my future self. My dear future me letter in written below to share an example of how my template looks when all filled in.

I AM CURRENTLY WEARING my favourite cozy jumper, my fluffy slippers and my pyjama bottoms.
I AM CURRENTLY W I T H my high-school sweetheart and now fiancé, Mathew.
I AM CURRENTLY DRINKING a lovely coffee from the coffee machine, fondly know as a “cup of cloud” as I have no idea what all the buttons mean.
LAST YEAR’S NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION WAS “to do more of what makes me happy”. I have made a real effort to achieve this throughout the year.
THIS YEAR’S NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION IS to put myself and my health first.
I WANT TO CONTINE to push myself to make more happy memories which will help me take better care of my body as well as my mind.
IN 2023 I WOULD LIKE TO:
TRY to be more honest with myself.
MAKE more time for my friends and family.
STOP my afternoon napping habit.
LEARN how to sew a dress from a pattern.
VISIT the Jurassic coast and go fossil hunting.
READ ‘The Theory of Everything Else’ by Dan Schreiber.
SAVE at least £3,000.
EAT food from a fancy restaurant in London.
MY MAIN 2023 GOALS ARE:
Reach 200 followers on Dot&Cross YouTube
Cycle a 5K virtual race
Take up running again
Watch more films
Cook more meals
Learn to roller-skate
Practice the ukulele
Document my family history journey
Review my DNA test
A R E M I N D E R A N D A F F I R M A T I O
“You need to go from wanting to change your life to deciding to change your life <3”
On 31st December, I will ask myself to review how successful I have been in achieving these goals, how much I have learnt and how much has changed. To the future me that is reading this now, I would like to remind you that you have come so far; be proud of what you have achieved and don’t be afraid to look forward to what the future holds.
